I like my dentist. Like me, he's an avid hiker and I've bumped into him on a few mountains - though I never recognize him "out of uniform" and without a face mask on until he say's "Hi Bill!". He's curious why I almost always a have a camera with me. On this day I asked if I could take a self-portrait while he worked on me and he gladly obliged. I held my Canon s-60 at arm's length and fired away.

Last week I've just survived a meeting with my dentist so this shot makes me re-live those not so comfortable moments in his chair. Ahhh. Still hurts.
