This photo was taken in Ossipee, New Hampshire. I spotted a dozen or so Model T's in a small parking lot and pulled over to take a photo. Another Model T pulled up as I was getting out of my car. I asked the driver if this was some sort of Model T gathering and he replied "No, it's my father's funeral. He was a Model T aficionado and these cars were all driven here by his friends."

Oh, my. What an answer. I would have felt like crawling in a hole if I had asked the question and received that answer. Who would have expected it to be a funeral. Wonderful capture and perfect in greyscale.

Yes, I was a bit stunned at first. But he then told me several stories about his dad and that he had a good life and had the funeral he would have wanted.

A great shot of these old, but restored cars. Excellent black and white work. I've added this to my fvxy collection!
