The photo is right-side up. I spent some time trying to figure out why the icicles were oriented as they were. It was windy after the ice-storm (which caused a lot of trees to fall - we had no power for six days afterwards) and that may have contributed to the tilt. But what I suspect really happened was that the clothespin was originally clamped sideways on the line and the weight of the accumulated ice caused it to rotate clockwise. Next ice-storm, I’ll stay outside and watch!

great shallow depth of field on this. This blanket of ice is amazing...we used to get this once or twice a year in Texas before global warming. Been a while now.
I'm wondering if you tilted the camera or was it just some insane killer wind that caused the icicles to form like that.

Love it. My family have always laugh at my clothes pins pictures. Showing them this will give me a revenge *LOL* I like the shallow DoF here.
