My grandfather never threw anything anyway. My father has inherited this trait. These are doorknobs from long removed doors in my grandfather's house, still stored in my father's basement. These will be mine someday.

An incredible treasure and the image is exceptional. It's amazing when you think of all the times your Grandfather and your family touched those knobs.

I also save all the old things no one else think about. Love to think about how things were back when the items were new and shiny :-) Beautiful Capture!

Nice story, but door knobs, why save old worn out door knobs?? The collectors gene can be a drag some times ;-)
