Unoccupied ranger's station in the middle of winter? That sounds like a bad decision on behalf of the State.
It is a very good shot. There's a softness to the paper I like. Looks like you may have used some HDR to get that texture? However you did it, it's well done. Looks like it 's been there forever.

I like the soft processing here and the textures of the wood are great. What a neat way to craft a creative image from the mundane.

Very nice. The processing makes it very interesting. It also makes it look as though you could reach out and grab the pencil.
