These are two of the oldest apartment houses on the beach and probably some of the best built. You can see them on old postcards from the 1920's and they look pretty much exactly the same. I like to imagine they still have their original beautiful hardwood floors and oak panel doors. I can think of nothing I'd rather do then sit out a winter storm behind those bay windows.

that's a terrific composition...i'm with elaine though, those apartments do look rather flimsy and cheek by jowl with one another!
