I've been looking at this little well house for several years. It sits alone in the middle of a large farm field, though the farm buildings are long gone. The land was subdivided for house lots a few years ago, but none has sold thanks to the current economic recession. However, the economy will eventually recover and several ugly suburban split-levels or McMansions will be built here so I thought now would be good time to take a couple of photos before it disappears.

Love this version even more and how the horizon bends towards the building. Both the horizon and the little shed have a hard time being straight :)

I love how all the space around it in the composition enhances the sense of alienation/loneliness.
