I don't think I'd be walking on that slab Bill? That is a frozen river yeah? Boy that's visually wonderful but looks impressively dangerous too. Are you alone on shoots when you capture images like this?

it's actually a pond and I was standing more or less on the shore when I took this. however, moments before while crossing a small cove to get here, my foot (with attached snowshoe) had gone through the ice - but no harm done. glad you like it.
