For some reason this snake appears tiny. Good to see 300mm between you at this guy. Although I have no idea if they have a venomous bite, just almost all of them here do.

Yeah, he was a small one - maybe a foot long before he coiled up. Not venomous but very pugnacious - struck at me when I moved a leaf and was "rattling" his tail the whole time I photographed him.
